Copic Markers for Cardmakers

Monday, September 22nd, 2014

Hey, guys! I decided to learn some more tips and tricks with Copics. So I’m taking a class, Copic Markers for Cardmakers.

No, I am not a beginner, but you can always learn something new from everyone, and a little practice never hurts…

The teachers are Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner, and Sandy Allnock. All 3 are amazing card makers/copic users and I really admire their work!

Before class, they asked us to upload a pre-class image that we have colored to see where our starting off point would be. I decided to upload my no lines coloring of Bella Sleeping from Wild Rose Studio. Scanning really brings out the faults in the coloring, but this is my favorite image I have colored. 🙂

This was my first time coloring using the no lines coloring technique. It took quite a while, but I’m happy with the outcome. It’s not even purr-fect. 😉

Now, you might be asking… Why isn’t that on a card??? My daughter asked me to frame it for her. 🙂
